Moscow – Sputnik. Zelensky said in a press briefing, “If Ukraine starts setting global conditions for the meeting, the Russians will have a hundred conditions. I believe that without any conditions, we can meet and think about the possible subsequent developments to end the war.”
He continued, “Security guarantees: there will be more and more details about them, as all this will be formalized on paper somehow in the next week or the next ten days.”
Earlier yesterday, the multilateral meeting of US President Donald Trump with EU leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky concluded. On Monday, Trump received Zelensky at the White House for the first time since their disagreement in February.
French President Emmanuel Macron, along with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, also announced their participation in the meeting.
