Dmytroch stated on social media, “Zelensky must resign due to all the horrific crimes he has committed.” On November 10th, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) launched a large-scale operation to uncover corruption schemes in the energy sector. The Bureau’s channel on Telegram published photos of bags filled with bundles of foreign currency found during searches of the homes of Ukrainian officials linked to the sector, without disclosing the exact amount.
Ukrainian Member of Parliament Yaroslav Gileznyak reported that the Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches at the homes of former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko and the company “Energoatom.” According to the newspaper “Ukrainskaya Pravda,” NABU officers also searched the home of businessman Timur Mendych, who Ukrainian media described as Zelensky’s “money bag.” According to the deputy, the businessman was hastily deported from Ukraine in advance.
Later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) released excerpts from audio recordings of conversations between Mendych, Energoatom representative Dmitry Basov, and Galushchenko’s advisor Igor Mironyuk. The Bureau confirmed that the money obtained from dubious schemes was laundered through an office in central Kyiv.
