Recently, Allu Arjun’s grandmother, Allu Kanakaratnammai, passed away. She was the wife of the renowned Telugu actor and comedian, Allu Ramalingaiah.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is also her son-in-law, shared an emotional tribute to Allu Kanakaratnammai.
On platform X, Chiranjeevi expressed his sorrow over the loss, describing his mother-in-law as an “inspirational” figure who imparted “love, courage, and life values” to the family.
He said, “The love, courage, and life values she instilled in our families will always inspire us. I pray for her sacred soul to find peace. Om Shanti.”

Allu Kanakaratnammai was the grandmother of actor Allu Arjun and mother of producer Allu Aravind. Allu Arjun reportedly returned home to pay his respects to her before the final rites.
Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s son, also traveled to Hyderabad for the final rites, which took place on August 31.
