Adraee added in a post on his Telegram channel, “The alarms were activated according to the usual policy.” The Yemeni group “Ansar Allah” announced on Tuesday that its forces carried out a missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, as part of the attacks the group has been launching against Israel since the end of last year, in support of Palestinian factions against the Israeli army.
He added that “Yemen continues its operations in victory for the oppressed and the hungry among our Palestinian people, in support of their resistance and to bolster their steadfastness. Continuous operations until the siege is lifted and the aggression on Gaza is stopped.”
“Ansar Allah” has been launching attacks on Israel and ships associated with it, the United States, and Britain in the Red Sea since November 2023, in response to the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip.
Since Tel Aviv resumed its military operations in the Gaza Strip on March 18, “Ansar Allah” in Yemen has intensified its attacks on Israel and ships associated with it, the United States, and Britain, leading to hundreds of airstrikes on the group’s locations in Yemen.
Before the group and Washington reached a ceasefire agreement on May 6, “Ansar Allah” confirmed that the agreement did not include operations against Israel.
