Apple is introducing a new method for purchasing the iPhone 17 series in the UAE on launch day. If you’re planning to get yours on Friday, September 19, follow these steps.
No walk-in purchases on Launch Day
For the first time in recent years, Apple will not allow direct walk-in purchases of the iPhone 17 series—including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max—at UAE Apple Stores on launch day.
Previously, you could reserve your iPhone and visit the store at your allotted time to complete the purchase and pick up your phone.
This year, to collect your phone in-store on September 19, you must:

Pre-order online through the UAE Apple website (apple.com/ae).

Select the “Pick up in store” option at checkout.
Only those who follow these steps will be able to collect their iPhone 17 in-store on launch day.

Starting prices in the UAE for the iPhone 17 lineup are:

iPhone 17 – Dh3,399, with 256GB base storage

Collection Points & Store Options
Apple has several official stores in the UAE for preorder collection: The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
When you choose “Pick up in Store,” you’ll see which stores have your device ready. Apple will notify you (often with a QR code or pickup pass) when your order is ready for collection. Bring this notification and a valid ID, as per Apple.com.
Apple seems to have made this change to better handle the launch-day demand at UAE stores, as walk-in queues have been a logistical challenge in past launches, especially with eager fans lining up the night before at locations like Dubai Mall.
