An informed official source stated that the Attorney General’s office received files from the State Security Prosecution related to fundraising activities involving the banned group, leading to the arrest of 10 individuals pending investigation.
The source indicated that the ten detainees are currently in reform and rehabilitation centers, while two other individuals are under investigation. One of these individuals is abroad and has not appeared before the public prosecution, and the other has been released on bail, according to Jordan’s “Ammon” news.
The accused face charges related to illegal practices and managing a financial network that relies on collecting money in violation of the law, using it to fund the activities of the banned group and its affiliates.
Jordan’s “Petra” news agency reported in a mid-July 2025 article that the total amount of money transferred by the group and its affiliates to official relief agencies in the kingdom amounted to about 413,000 dinars, representing only about 1% of the total funds they collected.
