Erdogan emphasized that “the voice of Palestine has become a global issue today,” adding that “everyone speaking today at the two-state solution conference speaks with one voice.” At the same time, Erdogan praised the countries that have recognized the State of Palestine, considering that they honor “the voice of justice and conscience.” He also thanked Saudi Arabia and France for organizing the conference, which aims to promote the two-state solution as a path to peace.

The first “New York Declaration” was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly with a majority of 142 votes in favor, 10 against, and 12 abstentions. The declaration, which supports the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, is the result of an international conference hosted by the United Nations and organized by Saudi Arabia and France last July to discuss the decades-long conflict.

It is worth mentioning that the two-state solution is a political proposal aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by establishing two independent states: a Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, alongside another state, which aligns with the vision of the international community.
