As the UAE marks its National Day, we celebrate a remarkable partnership inspiring the world—the ever-growing ties between India and the UAE. This alliance, rooted in mutual trust, economic goals, and cultural warmth, has soared to new heights under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

CEPA has infused fresh energy into bilateral trade, sparking entrepreneurship, enhancing manufacturing, and promoting cross-border investments across various sectors. Indian businesses now see the UAE as a vital global hub for expansion, while UAE investors increasingly view India’s innovation-driven environment as a dynamic growth engine. This seamless economic link has opened opportunities for SMEs, startups, and large enterprises, generating jobs, boosting competitiveness, and accelerating mutual prosperity.

Looking forward, our nations are deepening collaborations in industries shaping the next decade. Renewable energy remains pivotal, with joint initiatives in green hydrogen, solar technology, and sustainable urban development. Equally vibrant is the rise in digital innovation. From fintech and AI to healthtech, smart manufacturing, and deep-tech solutions, the India-UAE corridor thrives on progressive regulation and a vibrant startup ecosystem, allowing both nations to embrace and co-create these transformations.

At the heart of this synergy is IBPC Dubai. For 22 years, we’ve championed the Indo-UAE economic partnership, offering a credible, collaborative platform for dialogue and engagement. In 2025, our strategic agenda further strengthened this mission with impactful events designed to foster knowledge exchange, investment exploration, and sectoral collaboration.

Among these was the AI Summit at Dubai Chambers, a landmark event highlighting AI’s future role in bilateral innovation. The recent Youth Conclave celebrated the next generation of leaders shaping the India-UAE narrative. Our Sectorial Symposium on the Steel & Alloy Industry, attended by Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, provided essential insights into manufacturing and infrastructure opportunities.

The India Dialogue series fostered powerful engagements, including a conversation with the Reserve Bank of India and a special session with Shri Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, creating pathways for regulatory clarity and investment cooperation. The Capital Connect Series enabled businesses to engage with the region’s top investors, while our 22nd Anniversary Celebration with Ram Nath Kovind, former President of India, marked a historic milestone.

IBPC Dubai’s initiatives are greatly supported by Emirati leadership. Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Global Chairman – UAE & Gulf, IOD India, enriched the Masterclass with IOD, offering invaluable insights on governance and corporate excellence. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, welcomed the IBPC Steering Committee during its delegation visit, reinforcing governmental cooperation and trade facilitation. Consistent support from Dubai Chambers has amplified the impact of our initiatives, allowing IBPC Dubai to bridge Indian businesses and the UAE market.

In 2025, IBPC Dubai achieved a milestone with its first-ever Certified Corporate Director Masterclass, in strategic partnership with the Institute of Directors (IOD). It also hosted the CII Partnership Summit Roadshow – Dubai, bringing together industry leaders and policymakers to explore innovation, governance, and the future of investment in Andhra Pradesh.

The year also featured high-level interactions with Chief Ministers’ delegations, including Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, enhancing governmental engagement and opening new avenues for investment, trade, and collaboration between India and the UAE.

Cultural and community events marking India’s Independence Day, Republic Day, International Women’s Day, and the annual Corporate Quiz strengthened people-to-people connections, the true foundation of this extraordinary partnership.

Looking ahead, IBPC Dubai remains dedicated to empowering businesses, nurturing collaboration, and shaping sustainable global growth. India and the UAE stand today not just as trading partners, but as global partners in progress, building futures together.
