Adraee stated in a statement that “among the targeted objectives were the command headquarters of the Houthi General Staff, complexes of the security and intelligence apparatus loyal to the Houthi regime, as well as the military media directorate and camps where combat means and military personnel affiliated with the Houthi terrorist regime were identified,” according to his words.
He added that the raids “came in light of the attacks led by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel, which include launching drones and ground-to-ground missiles towards Israeli territory.”
The army’s statement accused the security and intelligence apparatus of Ansar Allah of playing “a role in terrorist activities and directly contributing to promoting military activities against the State of Israel, which destabilize the Middle East. This apparatus also works to suppress regime opponents using prisons and torture as weapons.”
The Houthi regime also uses the targeted camps to store combat means and to plan and execute terrorist plots against the State of Israel.
The terrorist Houthi regime operates with Iranian funding and guidance to strike Israel and its allies. It also exploits the maritime domain to use force and engage in terrorist activities against shipping and transport vessels in the international maritime domain.
The Defense Army will act forcefully against repeated Houthi attacks and will soon carry out additional offensive operations against the Houthis, remaining determined to continue striking any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel regardless of the distance.
