Currently, the project includes a “new generation” of experts from 15 countries: Belarus, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, China, Colombia, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Czech Republic, and South Korea.
Over two fruitful years, project participants have achieved the following: as part of the project, young researchers will have the opportunity to engage in various discussions and conferences of the Valdai Discussion Club. The main conference this year will be the “Valdai – New Generation” conference, which will traditionally feature a joint report by participants.
The report will reflect the views of young researchers on contemporary international issues and significant trends in global and regional development. The “Valdai – New Generation” project represents a community of young researchers united by the quest for new solutions to pressing issues in international politics and the global economy.
The project includes scholars at the beginning of their careers, aged between 23 and 35, who hold or are candidates for a Ph.D. or are currently pursuing their studies. The project is supervised by Timofei Bordachev, a professor at the Higher School of Economics and Director of the Valdai Discussion Club Program.
