Following a period of dense fog that caused flight disruptions this morning, Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that the airport and flights are back to normal operations.
As reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), DGCA’s spokesperson, Abdullah Al Rajhi, stated that the fog significantly reduced visibility to under 100 meters around 2 a.m., impacting both arrivals and departures and leading to several flights being rerouted to nearby countries.
