The ministry stated in a statement: “As a result of the relentless offensive operations carried out by units of the ‘East’ group, the town of Novonikolaevka in the Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated.” According to the statement, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area of influence of the East forces amounted to over 240 soldiers, 10 vehicles, and an American-made M777 howitzer with a 155 mm caliber. A supply depot was also destroyed.
