Following a successful edition of its biannual event for the digital cinema community, Advanced Media, the leading distributor of professional video, photo, broadcast, and cinema gear, has partnered with Prague Film School (PFS) to organize a series of workshops and seminars tailored for film degree students.
CINESchool is set for October 11-13 at Advanced Media’s headquarters, running from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. This joint initiative aims to enhance and expand upon the academic and practical experiences available to university students. Over the three days, workshops, seminars, and screenings will be led by PFS instructors Gary Griffin, Thomas Krivy, and Raam Reddy, a PFS alumnus and 2016 Golden Leopard awardee.
CINESchool will delve into topics such as camera operation, lens selection, lighting and grip, as well as color and exposure in the digital space, offering valuable insights into every stage of filmmaking.
Advanced Media is thrilled to launch this exclusive edition with Prague Film School. PFS, renowned for its hands-on curriculum, trains budding filmmakers and actors, engaging them in numerous productions featured in top film festivals. The school blends European art-house with American indie cinema, drawing diverse talent.
As the first initiative of its kind in the region, CINESchool promises a unique educational and networking opportunity for film students.
Registration is free and open to film students throughout the UAE. For further details, visit www.amt.tv.
