Netanyahu to Testify in Upcoming Court Sessions

The court announced that “judges have decided to hold four hearings from Monday to Wednesday, starting from November 2.” It added, “Netanyahu himself will testify in three of the sessions, while another person will testify in the fourth.” The decision was made in light of the need to advance the trial date after long and repeated delays and cancellations of sessions.

Netanyahu has completed his testimony in three cases involving charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. In the recent sessions, the prosecution has moved to the stage of cross-examination against Netanyahu, questioning him about the content and data he provided during his testimony, which spanned 40 sessions.

Since December 2016, Netanyahu has been under criminal investigation in Israel on charges of corruption and exerting illegal pressure to achieve his personal and governmental interests. The trial began in May 2020.
