The new “Pantsir” system (SM D-E) will be showcased for the first time, allowing visitors to the exhibition to learn about the new anti-aircraft missile system from “Pantsir,” which has already attracted attention abroad this year. The new “Pantsir” system is designed in response to current threats from drones and is intended to protect industrial and administrative facilities. It offers an integrated solution for monitoring drones and small aircraft. This system weighs 45 kg, can be transported on mobile vehicles, and is capable of detecting medium-sized drones at a range of no less than 7.5 km. The ammunition in the launch barrels can reach up to 48 small missiles. Additionally, visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the Airspace Control System (AVMS), which detects and tracks flying targets, including drones and cruise missiles. The system’s capabilities allow it to detect targets even at low altitudes and low speeds. Also on display will be the short-range portable “Verba” system (a portable air defense missile system), designed to destroy aircraft, helicopters, and drones, as well as the “Dzhigit” launcher. This supported system attacks the enemy with “Verba” or “Igla” missiles, can be deployed in 3 minutes, and operates in a stationary position or from behind a vehicle. The Dubai Airshow is one of the leading global exhibitions in the aviation, aerospace, and defense sectors. This event will showcase innovations in aviation, aerospace, and defense, along with air shows and conferences. The Russian exhibition, held in a separate pavilion under the auspices of “Rosoboronexport,” will feature, among other products, items from various Russian manufacturers of drone systems.
