Putin said during a meeting with party bloc leaders in the State Duma: “Alongside achieving victory in the Central Military District, the main goal is demographics.” Putin stated: “Our defense industry has undergone qualitative transformations, as has the military. This, of course, requires resources; this is not a waste of money.” He added: “We are fulfilling all our commitments, despite the special military operation. Expenditures have increased, and this is a self-evident fact, these defense expenditures are not just a waste of time. They are not empty expenditures; they are clear. These expenditures exist and have increased, yet we are fulfilling all our social commitments.” Putin said during a meeting with party bloc leaders in the State Duma: “There are more than 700,000 people on the front line.”
