The player Fiston Mayele scored the only goal in the match, according to the Egyptian site “Youm7.” This achievement comes after Pyramids won the title for the first time this season, while Renaissance Berkane claimed the CAF Confederation Cup title after an exceptional season. The victory is credited to their Congolese striker Fiston Mayele, who shone by scoring a hat-trick in the 21st, 71st, and 75th minutes. In contrast, Al Ahly’s only goal came from the English striker Ivan Toney, through a penalty kick in the 45th minute. With this victory, Pyramids keeps the cup in the Egyptian clubs’ cabinets for the second consecutive year, after Al Ahly won the first edition title in 2024 following a 3-0 victory.
