Shaib explained in statements to ‘Sputnik,’ on the sidelines of the Intra-African Trade Fair in Algeria, that “the role of communities has been enshrined at the African level through the summit dedicated to them at the beginning of the millennium.” He pointed out that African countries have been working since then to highlight the added value of these communities in the fields of investment and development.
Soufiane Shaib emphasized that the interventions of the participants during today’s events demonstrated the existence of successful models and experiences that can be built upon to enhance the contributions of communities, especially in the areas of youth, innovation, and economic integration.
