Lebedev explained to the Sputnik agency that the strikes were carried out through successive waves of drones and missiles, each wave consisting of 10 to 20 drones. In a related context, Lebedev reported that the Russian army targeted the main Ukrainian naval base in the Ochakov area of the Nikolayev region, noting that the strikes coincided with attacks on supply points in the Kirovohrad region. He explained that the naval base, along with warehouses and military training areas in Nikolayev, was subjected to three concentrated attacks, asserting that the operation resulted in the destruction of strategic targets of the Ukrainian navy.
The military operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years. Among the targets were German Leopard 2 tanks, many American and British armored vehicles, in addition to numerous tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, all of which were destroyed by Russian strikes.
