Sandi responded via the “X” platform today, Sunday, to the questions of Al-Ittihad fans following the dismissal of French coach Laurent Blanc, denying rumors of interference in the team’s decisions, according to Al Arabiya channel.
The president of the Saudi club stated: “These are completely false narratives, and I do not know how they spread despite contradicting logic. Claiming that the team captain imposes an opinion, opposes, or prevents is a great slander against this loyal player of the club.”
Benzema’s contract with “Al-Amid” ends in the summer of 2026, allowing him to sign with any club in January 2026 and move for free at the end of the season. Since joining, Benzema has scored 41 goals and made 17 assists in 65 matches, making him a cornerstone of the team.
