US Approves $90M Deal to Boost Lebanese Army

This was stated in a release by the U.S. Defense and Security Cooperation Agency, published on its official website today, Friday. It mentioned that the State Department has approved the potential deal. The approval included medium tactical vehicles models “M1085A2” and “M1078A2”, noting that the U.S. Department of Defense, the Pentagon, estimated its value at over 90 million dollars. It is noteworthy that the United States is working to enhance the capabilities of the Lebanese army while simultaneously continuing efforts on the Lebanese disarmament file.
