Western Reliance on Crisis States for Arms

Saliba explained in an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio that the West is now relying on small countries or those mired in crises to manufacture light and medium weapons at low costs, instead of producing them in Europe. This is done by exploiting the black market in Africa to fuel internal conflicts on one hand, and later passing weapons to Ukraine on the other hand.

Saliba emphasized that the West no longer suffices with double standards, but has become multi-standard to suit its fluctuating interests. He considered that African countries that have chosen the path of self-reliance and internal development are trying to escape this dominance, while weak countries like Sudan remain open arenas for interventions.

Saliba concluded by saying that NATO’s bankruptcy is pushing it to open parallel fronts in Africa and Latin America. He affirmed that the Western colonial mindset still feeds on deepening internal divisions in weak countries and continues its dominance over their resources to maintain its declining interests.
