The World Padel Academy (WPA) has unveiled its new Junior and Adult Academies, designed to make padel accessible to players of all ages and skill levels. This initiative underscores WPA’s dedication to cultivating a strong community around one of the world’s rapidly growing sports, while enhancing talent and personal growth both on and off the court through its expert coaching and structured training model.
The Junior Academy, catering to children aged 4 to 15, provides age-appropriate coaching aimed at improving technical skills and fostering discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Sessions take place at WPA’s Al Quoz facility, with young athletes grouped by age to ensure proper progression and support at every stage.
WPA already supports a vibrant community of over 20,000 players and operates 10 top-notch indoor courts at its premier Dubai location, establishing itself as a leader in creating an inclusive and community-focused padel environment.
To inspire the next generation of players, WPA will host an open day on September 6 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
These events offer children the opportunity to try padel for free, meet the coaches, and experience the excitement of the sport firsthand.
The Adult Academy, running parallel, offers evening training sessions for players of all skill levels looking to enhance their techniques, tactics, and gameplay. Sessions occur on weekdays and Sundays, with each participant receiving an initial assessment to ensure they train with peers of similar ability.
The launch of both academies is a significant step in WPA’s mission to foster a sustainable padel ecosystem throughout the UAE — one that is inclusive, welcoming, and community-oriented.
