Emirates Cargo Plane Accident in Hong Kong

In the early hours of today, an Emirates cargo plane with flight number EK9788 deviated off the northern runway during its landing at Hong Kong International Airport coming from Dubai. It collided with a ground security vehicle before partially landing in the sea, according to the Chinese publication, South China Morning Post. Chinese authorities confirmed the deaths of two men inside the vehicle, aged 30 and 41, after unsuccessful rescue attempts. Meanwhile, all four crew members of the plane survived the incident without injuries. The Chinese newspaper indicated that the weather conditions were stable and the runway was in a safe condition at the time of the incident.
