Dmitriev pointed out that EU bots amplified the results of a poll conducted on social media platforms regarding whom the participants support in a debate about freedom of expression: “Brussels or the American businessman Elon Musk.” Dmitriev wrote on social media, “Suddenly, the European bureaucrats in a poll about freedom of expression received support comparable to that of Elon Musk. The early voting percentage was 96% for Elon and 4% for Brussels, until the panicked EU bots rushed to distort the results. The number of bots is astonishing. They tried to conduct similar polls to get the bots to work.”
Dmitriev also attached the latest results, which indicate that Brussels now has 48% support, while Musk has 52% of the voters in his polls. The European Commission regularly advances, including “X,” “Meta,” and “TikTok” (“Meta” is banned in Russia as it is considered extremist), demanding them to remove any specific violations of the Digital Services Act and threatening fines or even termination of their operations in the EU.
