Ghazanfari wrote in an article, warning that “the arena of foreign policy is not a place to speak every truth,” considering that “repeated verbal errors can have consequences affecting national interests,” according to the “Iran Monitor” website.

He emphasized that “erroneous statements from high-level government officials primarily harm the government itself and narrow its room for maneuver in the complex and exhausting field of foreign policy, and even in domestic policy.”

Ghazanfari pointed to “the period of the presidential election campaigns in 2024,” noting that “at that time, Bazeshkian often read pre-written texts to avoid mistakes, and this approach has become more important today as he holds the position of President.”

It is noteworthy that Israel and Iran exchanged airstrikes and missile attacks from June 13 to June 24. The war included Iran’s bombing of strategic targets in Israel and Israel’s destruction of several vital targets in Iran. It also involved American and Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, followed by an Iranian attack in Qatar on June 24, before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the parties had reached a ceasefire.
