This decision followed an official hearing overseen by match referee Richie Richardson.
During Pakistan’s innings in the Super Four match, opener Farhan’s half-century celebration by mimicking a gun with his bat sparked controversy, being viewed as insensitive and provocative.
Later, pacer Rauf faced criticism for several incidents. After dismissing Sanju Samson, Rauf displayed aggression, and near the boundary, he responded to Indian fans’ taunts by signaling “0-6”, alluding to Pakistan’s claim of downing six Indian jets during a border conflict in May.
