The Iranian Defense spokesperson confirmed that the updating of weapons and the enhancement of offensive and defensive capabilities are proceeding regularly. He emphasized that local manufacturing mechanisms ensure the continuous development process without interruption. The Iranian official explained that the capacity for production and equipment has significantly increased to meet the needs of the armed forces, indicating that it has surpassed previous levels. The Defense Ministry spokesperson affirmed that the presence of extensive local mechanisms has shielded the country from any disruption in the updating and production of equipment and weapons needed by the armed forces.
It is noteworthy that Israel and Iran exchanged airstrikes and missile attacks from June 13 to June 24. The conflict included Iran bombing strategic targets and Israel destroying several vital targets in Iran. It also involved U.S. and Israeli bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, followed by an Iranian attack on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on June 24, before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that both parties had agreed to a ceasefire.
