The press office of the manufacturer “Petrofax Pharm” told “Sputnik” agency: “The Russian Ministry of Health has registered the new PD-1 inhibitor known as “Arema” for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.”
The company added that the new drug will contribute to reducing costs by up to 7.5 billion rubles compared to the currently available PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor alternatives.
It also added, “However, the cost of treatment often determines the possibility of its wide usage.”
