The new partnership with Yemen involves the signing of a cooperation agreement between the International News and Radio Agency ‘Sputnik’ and the Yemeni News Agency ‘Saba’. This agreement includes the exchange of content in both Arabic and English, as well as the organization of training courses and joint media events.
After signing the agreement, Pushkov stated: ‘The history of relations between Russia and Yemen spans nearly 100 years. During this period, our countries have succeeded in coming closer on various levels. Today, our cooperation continues, serving as one of the most important areas forming a bridge between the cultures of Russia and Yemen.’
Pushkov expressed his hope that ‘this agreement, signed on the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the unification of Yemen, will represent another step towards building a long-term partnership and friendship between the two countries.’
