Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, visited the 9th Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition ‘S’hail 2025’ in Doha, Qatar.

This visit coincided with his trip to Doha following an Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in the capital on Tuesday.

“I was delighted to visit the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition ‘S’hail 2025’ in Doha, Qatar, to see the innovations and cultural events that honor the Gulf’s heritage and traditions. I sincerely thank Qatar, its Emir, and its people for their warm hospitality. May Allah bless Qatar, a beacon of prosperity and progress. The UAE stands united with Qatar and its people in solidarity and brotherhood,” he posted on X after his visit.

During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee. He was updated on the latest equipment, innovations, and handmade products in hunting, falconry, and camping, presented by top international and Qatari companies.

He also learned about the cultural events and activities celebrating hunting and falconry traditions, key aspects of Arabian Gulf culture and heritage.

Sheikh Hamdan toured the Bird Market exhibits, featuring some of the finest falcons bred by Qatari farms, and the Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital pavilion, a leading center for diagnosing and treating falcon diseases.

Sheikh Hamdan commended the exhibition for strengthening community ties to heritage and its economic impact, providing investment opportunities in hunting, falconry, and related fields.
