Dr. Anwar Gargash, a prominent Emirati politician and advisor to the UAE President, voiced strong support for Qatar following an Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in Doha.
“The security of the Arab Gulf is inseparable, and we wholeheartedly stand with our sister nation Qatar, condemning the deceitful Israeli assault against it, and reaffirming our complete solidarity with Qatar in facing this aggression,” Gargash stated on Tuesday.
“May God protect Qatar, its leadership, and its people, and may God safeguard the Arab Gulf states,” he concluded.

The UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs also declared his support for Qatar. “Full solidarity with our beloved Qatar,” expressed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
These statements followed an Israeli strike on Tuesday targeting Hamas leaders in Doha. Witnesses from Reuters reported several explosions in the Qatari capital late Tuesday afternoon.
Israeli media, referencing a senior Israeli official, noted the strike aimed to target key Hamas figures, including Khalil al-Hayya, its Gaza chief.
